The St Marys Seafood Festival on Saturday October 7th is one of the Flotilla's traditional public affairs events. There is a parade followed by a street festival at which we host a PA booth where we discuss boating safety and our PE classes with the boating public. It also is a chance to seek new members for Flotilla 14-1.

In addition, Station Mayport is sending one of its boats, which will dock on the St Marys Waterfront and which will be offering tours to festival attendees. The USCG boats attract a number of visitors especially children.

We are planning to have three shifts:

  • Set-up (0745 or so) to 1100.
  • 1100 to 1400. And,
  • 1400 to Tear-down (1730 or so).

Please sign-up for one of these shifts. You will be rewarded with a great time not to mention great food from the many food trucks there.

Uniform will be ODUs/AWU with boots.
